Price of cigarettes as a percentage of average U.S. price fell 6.42% to 109% in Belgium in 2016, according to the National Statistical Office.

Historically, price of cigarettes as a percentage of average U.S. price in Belgium reached an all time high of 126% in 2008 and an all time low of 107% in 2012. When compared to Belgium's main peers, price of cigarettes as a percentage of average U.S. price in France amounted to 121%, 104% in Germany, 89.9% in Luxembourg and 115% in Netherlands in 2016.
