Pig iron production fell 11.8% to 21,863 kt in Ukraine in 2015, according to the National Statistical Office.
Historically, pig iron production in Ukraine reached an all time high of 35,650 kt in 2007 and an all time low of 17,800 kt in 1996. When compared to Ukraine's main peers, pig iron production in Poland amounted to 4,826 kt, 1,800 kt in Romania and 53,700 kt in Russia in 2015.
