Philippine National Bank's capital adequacy ratio reached 14.4% at the end of 2018, down from 15.4% compared to the previous year. Historically, the bank’s capital ratio hit an all time high of 21.7% in 2011 and an all time low of 14.4% in 2018.

The Tier 1 ratio amounted to 13.6% at the end of 2018, down from 14.6% compared to a year earlier.

Bank's loan to deposit ratio reached 75.9% at the end of 2018, up from 72.6% when compared to the previous year. Some 10 years ago, loan to deposit ratio of the bank amounted to 38.6%.
