Historically, pharmaceutical consumption of antibiotics in Germany reached an all time high of DDD 15.7 in 2013 and an all time low of DDD 9.30 in 1986. When compared to Germany's main peers, pharmaceutical consumption of antibiotics in Austria amounted to DDD 9.30 , DDD 20.6 in Belgium, DDD 23.6 in France and DDD 23.0 in Poland in 2018.
