Paper and paperboard production rose 21.6% to 152,000 kt in Lithuania in 2018, according to Faostat.

Historically, paper and paperboard production in Lithuania reached an all time high of 156,518 kt in 2011 and an all time low of 21,000 kt in 1994. When compared to Lithuania's main peers, paper and paperboard production in Belarus amounted to 285,251 kt, 76,000 kt in Estonia, 16,000 kt in Latvia and 6,556,000 kt in Russia in 2018.
