Historically, paper and paperboard production in China reached an all time high of 83,400,000 kt in 2017 and an all time low of 1,283,000 kt in 1967. When compared to China's main peers, paper and paperboard production in India amounted to 10,964,000 kt, 15,591,000 kt in Japan, 6,556,000 kt in Russia and 58,582,394 kt in USA in 2018.
