Historically, paper and paperboard production in Armenia reached an all time high of 26,357 kt in 2007 and an all time low of 1,100 kt in 2001. When compared to Armenia's main peers, paper and paperboard production in Azerbaijan amounted to 19,310 kt, 16,261 kt in Georgia, 631,000 kt in Iran and 2,670,964 kt in Turkey in 2016.
Armenia has been ranked 98th within the group of 113 countries we follow in terms of paper and paperboard production, 12 places below the position seen 10 years ago.
