Paper and paperboard production fell 2.17% to 9,000 kt in Armenia in 2016, according to Faostat.

Historically, paper and paperboard production in Armenia reached an all time high of 26,357 kt in 2007 and an all time low of 1,100 kt in 2001. When compared to Armenia's main peers, paper and paperboard production in Azerbaijan amounted to 19,310 kt, 16,261 kt in Georgia, 631,000 kt in Iran and 2,670,964 kt in Turkey in 2016.
