Historically, old age dependency ratio in Turkey reached an all time high of 15.2% in 2024 and an all time low of 5.19% in 1950. When compared to Turkey's main peers, old age dependency ratio in Bulgaria amounted to 34.5%, 36.2% in Greece, 5.85% in Iraq and 11.3% in Iran in 2024.
