Number of passenger cars rose 1.82% to 4.67 mil in Sweden in 2015, according to the National Statistical Office.

Historically, number of passenger cars in Sweden reached an all time high of 4.67 mil in 2015 and an all time low of 0.032 mil in 1941. When compared to Sweden's main peers, number of passenger cars in Denmark amounted to 2.39 mil, 2.61 mil in Finland, 2.59 mil in Norway and 44.3 mil in Russia in 2015.
