Number of manufactured cigarettes sold per day per capita fell 2.69% to 1.75 per day in Iceland in 2015, according to the National Statistical Office.

Historically, number of manufactured cigarettes sold per day per capita in Iceland reached an all time high of 5.13 per day in 1984 and an all time low of 0.616 per day in 1939. When compared to Iceland's main peers, number of manufactured cigarettes sold per day per capita in Denmark amounted to 2.92 per day, 0.950 per day in Norway, 1.61 per day in Sweden and 1.39 per day in United Kingdom in 2015.
