Number of manufactured cigarettes sold per capita of 15+ years old fell 3.88% to 1,232 per year in Denmark in 2016, according to the National Statistical Office.

Historically, number of manufactured cigarettes sold per capita of 15+ years old in Denmark reached an all time high of 1,989 per year in 2004 and an all time low of 1,088 per year in 2014. When compared to Denmark's main peers, number of manufactured cigarettes sold per capita of 15+ years old in Germany amounted to 1,091 per year, 721 per year in Netherlands, 408 per year in Norway and 710 per year in Sweden in 2016.
