Historically, number of fixed lines in Mongolia reached an all time high of 0.482 mil in 2023 and an all time low of 0.043 mil in 1982. When compared to Mongolia's main peers, number of fixed lines in China amounted to 179 mil, 2.69 mil in Kazakhstan, 0.185 mil in Kyrgyzstan and 20.8 mil in Russia in 2023.
Mongolia has been ranked 80th within the group of 141 countries we follow in terms of number of fixed lines, 46 places above the position seen 10 years ago.
