Number of cigarettes consumed per day per capita rose 2.32% to 2.54 per day in Latvia in 2016, according to the National Statistical Office.

Historically, number of cigarettes consumed per day per capita in Latvia reached an all time high of 5.94 per day in 2007 and an all time low of 2.10 per day in 2012.

Latvia has been ranked 18th within the group of 30 countries we follow in terms of number of cigarettes consumed per day per capita, 13 places below the position seen 10 years ago.
