Net foreign assets rose 6.49% to EUR 2,009 bil in Germany in 2023, according to the National Central Bank.

Historically, net foreign assets in Germany reached an all time high of EUR 2,009 bil in 2023 and an all time low of EUR 16.4 bil in 1960. When compared to Germany's main peers, net foreign assets in Austria amounted to EUR 94.2 bil, EUR 126 bil in Belgium, EUR 517 bil in France and PLN 698 bil in Poland in 2023.
