Net foreign assets rose 56.1% to SVC 2.27 bil in El Salvador in 2024, according to the National Central Bank.
Historically, net foreign assets in El Salvador reached an all time high of SVC 3.20 bil in 2010 and an all time low of SVC -0.561 bil in 1982. When compared to El Salvador's main peers, net foreign assets in Costa Rica amounted to CRC 6,610 bil, GTQ 168 bil in Guatemala, HNL 120 bil in Honduras and NIO 162 bil in Nicaragua in 2024.
