Historically, net foreign assets in Swaziland reached an all time high of SZL 8.95 bil in 2016 and an all time low of SZL 0.019 bil in 1974. When compared to Swaziland's main peers, net foreign assets in Botswana amounted to BWP 60.7 bil, LSL 25.3 bil in Lesotho, MZN 221 bil in Mozambique and ZAR 1,492 bil in South Africa in 2024.
