Net foreign assets rose 15.6% to GTQ 168 bil in Guatemala in 2024, according to the National Central Bank.
Historically, net foreign assets in Guatemala reached an all time high of GTQ 168 bil in 2024 and an all time low of GTQ -4.26 bil in 1996. When compared to Guatemala's main peers, net foreign assets in Belize amounted to BZD 1.84 bil, SVC 2.27 bil in El Salvador, HNL 120 bil in Honduras and NIO 162 bil in Nicaragua in 2024.
