Historically, net foreign assets in Nicaragua reached an all time high of NIO 162 bil in 2024 and an all time low of NIO -23.8 bil in 2000. When compared to Nicaragua's main peers, net foreign assets in Costa Rica amounted to CRC 6,610 bil, SVC 2.27 bil in El Salvador, HNL 120 bil in Honduras and MXN 4,999 bil in Mexico in 2024.
