Monte dei Paschi di Siena made a net profit of EUR -1,207 mil under revenues of EUR 859 mil in the fourth quarter of 2019, down 3% and up 10.1% respectively when compared to the same period last year.
Historically, the bank’s net profit reached an all time high of EUR 1,527 mil in 2Q2012 and an all time low of EUR -3,473 mil in 4Q2014. The average profit in the last six quarters amounted to EUR -103 mil.
On the other hand, bank’s revenues amounted to an all time high of EUR 2,648 mil in 4Q2007 and an all time low of EUR 383 mil in 3Q2007. The average revenues in the last six quarters reached EUR 800 mil.
