Metallurgical coke production fell 21.5% to 2,802 kt in France in 2015, according to the National Statistical Office.

Historically, metallurgical coke production in France reached an all time high of 12,255 kt in 1980 and an all time low of 2,802 kt in 2015. When compared to France's main peers, metallurgical coke production in Belgium amounted to 1,356 kt, 9,812 kt in Germany, 2,180 kt in Italy and 1,878 kt in Spain in 2015.
