Maybank Indonesia's net interest margin amounted to 4.71% in the fourth quarter of 2019, up from 4.65% when compared to the previous quarter.
Historically, the bank’s net interest margin reached an all time high of 6.86% in 2Q2005 and an all time low of -1.84% in 2Q2002. The average margin in the last six quarters amounted to 4.61%.
Average asset yield was 8.47% in 4Q2019, down from 8.62% when compared to the same period last year. On the other hand, cost of funding amounted to 4.43% in 4Q2019, down from 4.56%.
