Historically, maize production in Pakistan reached an all time high of 10,183 kt in 2022 and an all time low of 483 kt in 1962. When compared to Pakistan's main peers, maize production in Afghanistan amounted to 311 kt, 277,203 kt in China, 33,730 kt in India and 300 kt in Iran in 2022.
