Historically, maize production in Cambodia reached an all time high of 1,232 kt in 2018 and an all time low of 38.0 kt in 1987. When compared to Cambodia's main peers, maize production in China amounted to 277,203 kt, 463 kt in Laos, 4,896 kt in Thailand and 4,423 kt in Vietnam in 2022.
