Historically, maize production in Myanmar reached an all time high of 2,274 kt in 2021 and an all time low of 47.3 kt in 1965. When compared to Myanmar's main peers, maize production in China amounted to 277,203 kt, 33,730 kt in India, 463 kt in Laos and 4,896 kt in Thailand in 2022.
