Historically, maize production in Uganda reached an all time high of 6,165 kt in 2021 and an all time low of 190 kt in 1962. When compared to Uganda's main peers, maize production in Kenya amounted to 3,087 kt, 459 kt in Rwanda, 219 kt in South Sudan and 2,284 kt in Dem. Republic of the Congo in 2022.
