Historically, maize production in Serbia reached an all time high of 7,952 kt in 2014 and an all time low of 3,533 kt in 2012. When compared to Serbia's main peers, maize production in Bosnia and Herzegovina amounted to 987 kt, 1,642 kt in Croatia, 2,766 kt in Hungary and 8,037 kt in Romania in 2022.
