Historically, maize production in Armenia reached an all time high of 21.7 kt in 2015 and an all time low of 3.91 kt in 1993. When compared to Armenia's main peers, maize production in Azerbaijan amounted to 270 kt, 153 kt in Georgia, 300 kt in Iran and 8,500 kt in Turkey in 2022.
