Historically, maize production in Vietnam reached an all time high of 5,287 kt in 2015 and an all time low of 237 kt in 1971. When compared to Vietnam's main peers, maize production in Cambodia amounted to 1,163 kt, 277,203 kt in China, 463 kt in Laos and 4,896 kt in Thailand in 2022.
