Historically, lignite coal production as a share of worldwide production in Myanmar reached an all time high of < 0.001% in 2015 and an all time low of < 0.001% in 1997. When compared to Myanmar's main peers, lignite coal production as a share of worldwide production in China amounted to 0.208%, 0.024% in India, < 0.001% in Laos and 0.016% in Thailand in 2015.
