Historically, life expectancy for females in Zambia reached an all time high of 68.7 years in 2023 and an all time low of 43.6 years in 1955. When compared to Zambia's main peers, life expectancy for females in Angola amounted to 55.6 years, 64.9 years in Tanzania, 63.8 years in Zimbabwe and 53.5 years in Dem. Republic of the Congo in 2024.
