Lettuce and chicory production rose 7.33% to 15.7 kt in Kuwait in 2022, according to Faostat.

Historically, lettuce and chicory production in Kuwait reached an all time high of 18.0 kt in 2018 and an all time low of 0.070 kt in 1992. When compared to Kuwait's main peers, lettuce and chicory production in Bahrain amounted to 0.989 kt, 36.3 kt in Iraq, 452 kt in Iran and 24.0 kt in Saudi Arabia in 2022.
