Historically, lettuce and chicory production in Cyprus reached an all time high of 4.67 kt in 2016 and an all time low of 0.450 kt in 1961. When compared to Cyprus's main peers, lettuce and chicory production in Egypt amounted to 71.8 kt, 54.5 kt in Greece, 15.1 kt in Israel and 562 kt in Turkey in 2022.
