Historically, lentils production in Bangladesh reached an all time high of 190,743 tonnes in 2022 and an all time low of 42,672 tonnes in 1961. When compared to Bangladesh's main peers, lentils production in Bhutan amounted to 51.9 tonnes, 167,441 tonnes in China, 1,268,830 tonnes in India and 764 tonnes in Myanmar in 2022.
