Historically, lemon and lime production in Nepal reached an all time high of 57.9 kt in 2020 and an all time low of 15.0 kt in 1996. When compared to Nepal's main peers, lemon and lime production in Bangladesh amounted to 95.4 kt, 0.073 kt in Bhutan, 2,589 kt in China and 3,776 kt in India in 2022.
