Historically, lemon and lime production in Kuwait reached an all time high of 0.426 kt in 2011 and an all time low of 0.003 kt in 1969. When compared to Kuwait's main peers, lemon and lime production in Bahrain amounted to 1.12 kt, 5.50 kt in Iraq, 508 kt in Iran and 67.1 kt in Saudi Arabia in 2022.
