Historically, kerosene consumption in Nepal reached an all time high of 6.73 '000 bpd in 2005 and an all time low of 0.318 '000 bpd in 2015. When compared to Nepal's main peers, kerosene consumption in Bangladesh amounted to 6.14 '000 bpd, 0.085 '000 bpd in Bhutan, 25.3 '000 bpd in China and 160 '000 bpd in India in 2015.
