Kaolin production fell 25.4% to 20.3 kt in South Africa in 2015, according to the National Statistical Office.

Historically, kaolin production in South Africa reached an all time high of 155 kt in 1981 and an all time low of 15.2 kt in 2011.

South Africa has been ranked 39th within the group of 58 countries we follow in terms of kaolin production, 11 places below the position seen 10 years ago.
