Historically, iron ore production in Brazil reached an all time high of 460,400 kt in 2011 and an all time low of 36,381 kt in 1970. When compared to Brazil's main peers, iron ore production in Bolivia amounted to 24.5 kt, 7,321 kt in Peru and 11,715 kt in Venezuela in 2015.
