Historically, receipts of international tourism in Montenegro reached an all time high of USD 1,276 mil in 2019 and an all time low of USD 180 mil in 2020. When compared to Montenegro's main peers, receipts of international tourism in Albania amounted to USD 1,243 mil, USD 438 mil in Bosnia and Herzegovina, USD 5,632 mil in Croatia and USD 1,422 mil in Serbia in 2020.
Montenegro has been ranked 99th within the group of 117 countries we follow in terms of receipts of international tourism, 4 places below the position seen 10 years ago.
