Historically, expenditure of international tourism in Kyrgyzstan reached an all time high of USD 582 mil in 2016 and an all time low of USD 7.00 mil in 1995. When compared to Kyrgyzstan's main peers, expenditure of international tourism in China amounted to USD 277,345 mil, USD 2,852 mil in Kazakhstan, USD 24.2 mil in Tajikistan and USD 2,722 mil in Uzbekistan in 2018.
