Historically, expenditure of international tourism in Croatia reached an all time high of USD 1,809 mil in 2019 and an all time low of USD 422 mil in 1995. When compared to Croatia's main peers, expenditure of international tourism in Bosnia and Herzegovina amounted to USD 385 mil, USD 72.0 mil in Montenegro, USD 2,000 mil in Serbia and USD 1,771 mil in Slovenia in 2019.
Croatia has been ranked 59th within the group of 121 countries we follow in terms of expenditure of international tourism, 12 places above the position seen 10 years ago.
