Historically, expenditure of international tourism in Georgia reached an all time high of USD 706 mil in 2016 and an all time low of USD 129 mil in 2000. When compared to Georgia's main peers, expenditure of international tourism in Armenia amounted to USD 1,119 mil, USD 2,593 mil in Azerbaijan, USD 27,653 mil in Russia and USD 5,025 mil in Turkey in 2016.
