Historically, expenditure of international tourism in Maldives reached an all time high of USD 414 mil in 2018 and an all time low of USD 41.0 mil in 1995. When compared to Maldives's main peers, expenditure of international tourism in India amounted to USD 25,790 mil, USD 13,171 mil in Indonesia, USD 25,346 mil in Singapore and USD 2,487 mil in Sri Lanka in 2018.
