Historically, expenditure of international tourism in Slovakia reached an all time high of USD 2,823 mil in 2018 and an all time low of USD 338 mil in 1995. When compared to Slovakia's main peers, expenditure of international tourism in Austria amounted to USD 13,922 mil, USD 6,034 mil in Czechia, USD 3,352 mil in Hungary and USD 10,161 mil in Poland in 2019.
