Added value of industry as a share of GDP rose 20.9% to 0.318% in Zimbabwe in 2024, according to the National Statistical Office.

Historically, added value of industry as a share of GDP in Zimbabwe reached an all time high of 0.397% in 2022 and an all time low of 0.191% in 1999. When compared to Zimbabwe's main peers, added value of industry as a share of GDP in Botswana amounted to 0.294%, 0.246% in Mozambique, 0.244% in South Africa and 0.375% in Zambia in 2024.
