Historically, incidence of tuberculosis per 100,000 people in Zimbabwe reached an all time high of 682 persons in 1999 and an all time low of 188 persons in 2020. When compared to Zimbabwe's main peers, incidence of tuberculosis per 100,000 people in Botswana amounted to 244 persons, 361 persons in Mozambique, 427 persons in South Africa and 283 persons in Zambia in 2023.
