Historically, the bank’s net interest margin reached an all time high of 9.76% in 4Q2000 and an all time low of 0.554% in 3Q2021. The average margin in the last six quarters amounted to 0.746%.
Average asset yield was 3.70% in 4Q2024, down from 4.46% when compared to the same period last year. On the other hand, cost of funding amounted to 3.49% in 4Q2024, down from 4.27%.
When compared to bank's main peers, Ceska Sporitelna operated in the fourth quarter of 2024 with a net interest margin of 2.04% CSOB reached 1.65% and Komercni Banka some 1.65%.
