Historically, households' pension fund assets in Iceland reached an all time high of USD 48.6 bil in 2021 and an all time low of USD 42.8 bil in 2017. When compared to Iceland's main peers, households' pension fund assets in Denmark amounted to USD 266 bil, USD 199 bil in Norway, USD 675 bil in Sweden and USD 4,564 bil in United Kingdom in 2021.
