Historically, households' assets in life insurance in Hungary reached an all time high of USD 8.02 bil in 2011 and an all time low of USD 0.446 bil in 1989. When compared to Hungary's main peers, households' assets in life insurance in Austria amounted to USD 93.7 bil, USD 12.7 bil in Czechia, USD 16.6 bil in Poland and USD 5.83 bil in Slovakia in 2021.
