Historically, households' assets in life insurance in Germany reached an all time high of USD 1,380 bil in 2021 and an all time low of USD 448 bil in 1997. When compared to Germany's main peers, households' assets in life insurance in Austria amounted to USD 93.7 bil, USD 235 bil in Belgium, USD 2,638 bil in France and USD 16.6 bil in Poland in 2021.
